The city of San Sebastian is abounded with great, impressive and stunning sceneries, especially its pristine white beaches. Palacio de Aiete – This palace was built in 1878 with influence from the French castles of the era. Aside from its architectural finesse of slate roofs and masonry walls it is also surrounded by ponds and gardens. With its elevated location the palace is also an ideal place for sightseeing. If you plan to visit the place, admission is free of charge. Open hours: from 7am to 8pm daily.

Barrio de la Marina – This place is an old fishing district where an old village named Hondarribia used to be. What remains now of the old village are the two main streets which now contain bars and restaurants. Other features of the place include the ruins of Magdalena church, an old house dating back to 1574, and the Hondarribia port built in 1895.

Casco histórico de Getaria – This town has been noted to be the earliest one to be found in Guipúzcoa and is believed to date back to 1209. The place has been noted for its commercial and financial importance.

Casco histórico de Zarautz – Zarauz is a town which dates back to the medieval period. Its importance to trade and tourism made it grow to what it is today. Aside from being a historical destination, Zarauz is also famous for its hotels and its beaches are ideal for surfing.

Centro Cultural Koldo Mitxelena – What was once an engineering school is now a cultural center for different activities and exhibitions. Centro Cultural Koldo Mitxelena also houses the Gipúzcoa Regional Council's library. The building also offers multi purpose halls for conferences, functions and courses.

Convento de la Compañía de Jesús – The main building which is the church and all its auxiliary buildings were built upon the remains of a theater - circus building. The circus structure was there since 1870 and was reused to establish the church in 1902. The structure is Romanesque in style and was built by Juan Bautista Lázaro
The church holds mass during these times: - Feast days: 8.30am, 9.30am, 10.30am, 11.30am. 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 6.30pm, 7.30pm, 8.30pm and 9.30pm.

Convento de Santa Teresa – The complex is made of the church, the annex and several other buildings. The church was erected during the 17th century and all the other structures followed during the 18th century until the present. Nowadays, some of the musical events in San Sebastian are held in the place.

Edificio de Correos – This building can be found in the Plaza del Buen Pastor area. What was once a school of house and trades, it is now the present post office of the district. The building is made of masonry stone with an evident Fench architectural influence as seen in how its attic is designed.

Funicular de Igeldo – It’s a sort of a cable car built in 1912. It connects Ondarreta Beach to one of the famous landmarks of the area which is the Igeldo Amusement Park. The passenger is taken on a 320 m. trip on a 160 m drop, in a 33 degrees incline.
A carriage leaves every 15 minutes from each end.

Hacienda Foral – A former hotel building which was then converted to an office area. The exterior design is what makes it stand out among the rest of the buildings on the street.
But since this attraction is now a private office space it cannot be visited.
